A pilot project of biogas and fertilizer production is now completed and is serving 20 families and providing natural fertilizer to farmers in Jowhar. The project was financed through the P3 agreement with Hirshabelle State. The 48m3 digester is using feedstock from 160 cows out of the 60,000 available in Jowhar.
